During the month of October I had several pieces on display in the Ithaca Print Commons in Ithaca, NY for the 8th annual Open Season group show. Since the theme was hunting and it was during spooky season I decided to draw 3 scenes of The Shape aka Michael Myers, stalking Jamie Lee Curtis’s character, Laurie Strode. These were all done with my new favorite medium to work in: watercolor pencil. I hardly ever dilute them with any water but just enjoy drawing with them. Probably should just go to regular colored pencils but I’ll wait until I grind all of these watercolor pencils down to a nub.
